With his recent failed attempt to rekindle Cheryl's affections weighing heavily upon him, Larry is in a deep funk. But Jeff's daughter's Bat Mitzvah is coming up, and Cheryl will be attending with her new romantic interest. Larry needs to find a date. He also needs to find what's irritating his anus, and makes an appointment with a gastroenterologist. A disagreement with the office receptionist starts a rumor about Larry and sexual deviance with furry rodents. But while in the waiting room, he meets Paula, an attractive and charming woman who agrees to go on a date with him. But in traditional Larry fashion, he screws up the date and she goes home early.
